Show and Tell
Attendees sharing items - All beautiful and creative projects shared! The group enjoyed seeing all them too! See the TVMQG Blog posting for pictures.
Jan – showed us her jellyroll race quilt finished. It looks like an abstract landscape painting. Jan will be donating it to our guild.
- Nancy and Jan – did a two-color quilt challenge together. Jan pieced and Nancy quilted. This quilt will be entered into the MQG 2019 two-color quilt challenge.
- Nancy – showed us her butterfly block of the month.
- Madelynn – showed us her butterfly block of the month for September and the charity quilt she finished and donated this month
- Debbie – showed us a quilt she made from a quilt kit she found at Needle and a Fabric Stash. The pattern called for curved piecing and paper piecing, but she found a way to avoid paper piecing using applique instead.
- Linda – showed us a quilt she made using salvaged strips from her friend in Oregon. She was able to make a VERY large king-sized, Christmas-colored, log cabin quilt.
